A Hack to Easily Allow Multiple Queues at One Location.

One Business - Multiple Lines.

This is a modification of one business - one line.

Here, two or more people (or departments) in the business have their own line.

Functionally, the only difference is multiple locations (and queues) are made for the business where Street Address 2 gets the person's (or department's) name added to it. Everything else for each location stays the same.

With this approach, each person (or department) would operate their own queue.

Warning

Open Air Queue is carefully designed to keep things as simple and intuitive as possible. This location hack makes things a little harder on the customer and queue managers. Meaning, there's more chance for mistakes (queues not being turned on, customer's picking the wrong queue, etc.).

You are welcome to use Open Air Queue this way, but more effort/innovation will be needed to keep this system running well.

Quick Summary

Imagine a hair salon where each stylist has his or her own clients.

Here, the merchant creates and starts a queue for each stylist (as opposed to one for the entire company), all customers are steered to this website to get a ticket, and they come in as called.

Unlike the 'One Business - One Line' example, here the stylist would probably each manage his or her own queue.
